He would be open for anything I would assume if its gave him a solution. 

I don't think winding back the clock is an option, so time to find a solution going forward.

Renée I highly recommend you take a look at expired listings as many of my students have been successful getting started doing lease-option assignments to expired listingsThey want to sell and usually they don't have a lot of equity so a rent to own solution sometimes works well for themTypical deal is hundred thousand dollar house 95,000 loanMake 3 to 5% on a lease option assignment

The treatment may change from one year to another.

The best solution for us was to lay chicken wire down and cover it with cedar chips.

I am not sure those are any type of solution for the middle man wrapper.  

Go through the pros and cons and figured out which, then try to get to the solution.

Not sure if this would be a solution though..Please do not see it as an "argument" I am defying you (not actually defying you.. more like defending my viewpoint) to actually understand how partnering works and what it is like being a cash haver... and what their concerns are from their point of view.
