I’ve been running some numbers on property in the south buffalo to Ellicottville NY area, maybe be can partner up and I can run some air bnb rentals right by the holiday valley ski resort?

My friend who lives across the street has been successfully using Air BNB and I'm wondering if I should give it a shot or sick to traditional renters.

@Jordan Noble  I don't want to speak out of school, but the question on your splitting ownership on the property is best answered by a title agent or real estate attorney, but I think you could have a Quit Claim Deed Prepared adding your partner as Joint Tenant (I would double check this is the best way to hold title).

So, we had the entire property tested (air samples and moisture readings) and it was determined that 4 of the rooms needed remediation (2 bedrooms, a living room and a bonus room) ... that remediation cost just shy of $4k - but, luckily, didn't require opening up any walls or fixing any pipes.If I were your agent, I'd be recommending that you get the property inspected by a mold remediation company before you start negotiating for a lower price.
