I'm biased about the Tahoe Reno, NV market because the proximity to CA wealth, people, and companies moving to the area is forcing appreciation.

The other thing you hear is gender concerns of sharing with a male.

I have also been searching the BP forums but obviously everyone is biased depending on what state they work.

Every snowstorm in the midwest costs big $$$...I'm biased to Milwaukee, but am seeing good things in Cleveland, Memphis, Indy, LIttle Rock and similar style cities.

Hey there @Mason Green - I have a biased opinion towards Chicago mainly because of the amazing community here within BiggerPockets and the real estate investing community here in general.Besides the awesome network...I love Chicago because of the plethora of small multifamily buildings that need to be renovated, plus you can literally find properties at any price point from $50k to $50M.Which city are you actually currently located in?

But I'm also biased at this point with my portfolio and investing activity there.The most optimal play in that market is to buy something cash, do some light rehab, and then refi out.

I see Location Location as sort of racial confirmation bias for discussion behind the door though.
