I'm looking to downsize filing cabinets filled with paper records for my real estate business.

Puppy chewed up fence boards, doors, and cabinets.

What is the risk of simply painting anti-microbial paint on the wood and rebuilding the bottom part of the cabinet and plaster/paint the garage back to it's original state.

Maintenance costs and repair scheduling and higher water bills are the things that come to mind, plus it does take away some cabinet space in a small kitchen.

Maybe not, but I'll bite because it's early and my coffee is hot...I did my first complete remodel by my self when I was 25, flooring, cabinets, painting inside and out, counter tops (Corian I cut myself), new light fixtures, installing a new bathtub, tiling a new shower and lots more. 

Taking out a wall opening up the kitchen and putting new cabinets in, also putting new carpet in the living room.

@Christopher Edward I agree I would go for it, just try to go fo refacing instead of replacing, there are so many youtube videos about this, a property doesnt need a new door when you can lain the existing one, paint the existing cabinets and the floor instead of replacing.

@Matt MoylanIf I am doing basic work with a friend (painting, putting together cabinets, laying some laminate flooring) would it cover my friend if he were to get hurt on the job? 

Modifications to the laundry area and some kitchen cabinets made the classic (read: old vintage!)
