Especially for STR, you could literally put a sofa bed in the living room and accommodate extra guests (before you all scream, this is fairly common even in high end STRs and I've never heard of complaints, but feel free to cite other experiences).

I'll try to give as much detail as possible so sorry if this is a little long-winded.I have two potential partners who are looking to do a deal together to buy a 2-4 unit in Cleveland (B neighborhood or higher) where I am located.

This is a little detail our title company missed...We contracted a lawyer after incurring close to $60k in engineering fees (they did find a way to lift the restrictions through the DEQ), to see if we could make a claim agains the title insurance.

Prepare to show detailed documentation of your STR performance, but keep in mind that consistency matters, and some lenders might prefer a more extended history.

The house will be priced at around $870,000 so I am considering spending the extra money to stage it. 

You won't cashflow while living in the unit but if you can save an extra $1,000 while getting in a property it's worth it.

Also I assume if I foreclose on the buyer I would also have to pay back their equity, so that would be an extra cost
