Hi Melissa,That is how we did our first flip, and the experience was as others have described - noise and dust all day, inconvenience, etc.

Initially you may want to do an basic cleaning (get rid of trash, clean all windows and sills, bathroom & kitchen & cabinets, flooring and maybe even sweep down walls for dust build up and possible spider webs) so it's not overwhelming, then you can better assess and create your strategy.
