We actually rented the unit back to the existing tenants for as long as they wanted to stay because we didn’t have to do anything to the unit to start generating income.

One person is extrapolating out the depths of the inner city to the entire market as far as long term viability for investment, when the other person is actually considering A/B neighborhood buy and hold.

And is there anyway to still get a property that needs some things fixed on it via a VA loan , so long as the repairs are Under a certain amount .... $1,000 or less ? 

and how long until this happens that Trenton can become the next up and coming go to city.

Then you can be in it for the long haul when the area becomes more developed and the market starts to mature.
