When we first started out we were introduced to this guy who had been in real estate for years.

I figured I would start out by getting into wholesaling,  which I am hoping will introduce me to my first BRRRR opportunity.

Ego is your enemy A few years ago when I was introduced to Biggerpockets I met an investor who advised me against getting my license because of the laws when it came to doing certain deals and because I knew the size of his portfolio I took his advice.

Thought I would write a post to introduce myself, new to the forums.My name is John Hogg, Me and my wife Xanthy Hogg have recently started investing in real estate in a much less passive role.We have already poured through all the podcasts, blogs and forum discussions we can and gained so much from it all.

I attended a real estate networking event this evening in my hometown of San Diego, CA, and during a segment where we each stood up and introduced ourselves to the group, I mentioned that I was interested in doing the BRRRR strategy and purchasing my first rental property in Ohio by the end of 2019 - someone in the crowd shouted out "Mistake!"
