I don't believe we saw a permanent change in the housing market in typical STR locations, maybe a little inflation but these places got overpriced quick - the demand rose due to low interest rates and money injected into the economy by the Fed and supply simply couldn't keep up.

They also sell lead check testers at big box stores, test ever paint color, and if you're really worried test a variety of things that are white.
