IF you feel there's risk, charge them the same as you would a renter.My concern was a final walkthrough is a chance to spot anything that an inspector might've missed, was hidden by furniture, or happened subsequent to the inspection.

The house is a 3/2 with a finished basement that is large and open (no egress).The house has 2 large family room areas that would be difficult to convert into additional bedrooms so I am thinking of furnishing 1 with office furniture to try to attract young professionals.Is there anything I consider in terms of how I can word my ad to attract folks who want a home office without breaking any rules?

One is a 12 unit apartment building, one is a SFH and the other is a duplex. 2 of his children (myself and older sister) would inherit the properties (partner on the 12 unit and individually own the other 2 separately).The other 4 siblings would get a cash buyout that we've all agreed is fair (and substantial).The challenge is how to provide the cash buyouts as part of the will and avoid income tax for the 4 siblings... notes below from lawyer.
