I do not like holding RE inside of a retirement fund due to forfeiting all the yearly tax benefits and writeoffs. 

Rehabbing homes is not what I consider retirement, even when I am not doing any of the work.

Have found a man retiring and selling his mobile home park for 1.6 mil, 39 units 100%paying and occupied grossing 186k with expenses 67500.

You pay yourself interest and they do not require any qualification other than you have to have enough money in your retirement plan to be able to borrow. 

Cut all expenses, don't eat out, get a raise at work, get rid of fancy cars, borrow against a retirement account, look for private money.

I'm retired, and I'm not interested in building a large portfolio of properties at this point.
