Finance is regulated heavily by an alphabet soup of agencies many of which have police powers at the state and federal level.

I don't want any police officers kicking in my door on a drug raid.

Not so worried about catching while act is happening as police dont generally get there that fast but would like to be able to track the person/crook down after the fact.  

The crap I have to deal with on the SFRs and that Duplex far outstrip any issues I have had with the HOAs (and one I would rate as a huge PITA that has to have a police detail at the annual meeting because the board is hated that much they fear for their safety).However I have this fat check I have to write out every month on them, even on the ones that are "Free and Clear" that DO cut into the cashflow.

Unless you have something other than a complaining roommate (neighbor, police charge) you are taking one side without investigating.

If the police make him leave then they did it not you.
