The Section 8 tenants that I've had tend not to act as "entitled" because they know of they do then a phone call will be made to the Housing Authority and if they lose their voucher, they are most likely "on the street".

@Colleen Prescott with all due respect and whatever to the author of that article, I think they should go back to whatever school they attended and demand a refund.  

Most housing authorities have a wait list that takes years to get to the top of the list.  

The difference is if the other adults were qualified and had their income used, credit checks, background checks, they were listed on the renters insurance, etc.. that would be a sign that they are actually on the lease and can be held responsible, If they're just listed on the lease like people do when notifying a landlord that a child resides in the property, that means nothing except notifying you that they are residing in the property at the authorization of the tenant and responsible for the lease.
