HelloI am acquiring multiple no-vacation single family homes in non-vacation/touristic markets, mostly in the Midwest and Southeast (Dayton Oh, Winston Salem NC).

People do not want to work these jobs that are needed to support the tourist industry.  

This market is driven by tourist on vacations or conferences.

They are world wide, have a ton of support locally and across the country.

@Russell Brazil   hahaha for that reason I was in shock cause, it is ok in certain times there is a hause price crash but COVID just put inflation on the worldwide market.that's in my opinion.

These are high pay and remoteAlso, Blockchain development is a hot skill (and high pay) as more and more industries explore the benefits of decentralizationI have been in Tech and Consulting sector for 15 years (based in Canada) however I work for clients worldwide. 

Hopefully it doesn’t end up like LQ where they had the same moratorium and ended up deciding to not allow any more STRs except in certain tourist commercial zones and home shares.

Yes in San Diego with lots of tourists you can increase the income if the units look cute in photos but the Underwriter won't give you the income boost.

I'm not as close to the tourist areas as you are so I don't see cabins going real well here unless it's focused on motorcycle riders.

They give tourists an alternative option to boring hotels, while spending money at restaurants and other area attractions.
