Make sure that that person has a lot of experience, and make sure that there is at least 20% - 25% equity over and above the amount that you have lent and in your agreement it states that they can have no other liens or loans on top of yours.

I believe this is more geared for the tenant but it shows where properties have "experience" with S8 tenants.

My former experience has been with LTR and I'm currently focused on STR in E TN but interested in learning other useful strategies and expanding markets in later deals.

I was just hoping there was someone that had personal experience with them.

We cut that cost in half by training and certifying people on our team and it created a better experience overall. 

I am in the middle of writing my own experiences.

It worked out fine, though each time I got a little less than advertised interest rate (about 9% vs 10%) and I had to send a reminder email to to get my money back, but I did get it back.I ask about others' experience, because I'm still not 100% sure it's not a ponzi. 

That's been an interesting experience!
