The items feel sturdy and durable and are very inexpensive.

If its much more sturdy with real wood, all-metal parts, etc, I'd strongly consider it. 

In some older construction (1930 and older IIRC but could be in newer too), the subfloor material is often yellow heart pine - a rather sturdy pine wood.

The whole idea is for the student to learn but if the dog is on a short leash and the hunter gets to do the shooting, dressing out the kill and has the trophy mounted, the dog will always just be chasing.

You can put up a sturdy curtain rod (or 2) with some sheer type curtains and be done for less than $35 ( think Wal Mart, Big Lots, or Dollar General).

Hi Joe,Maybe "Let the dog leash out slowly"For instance, ask for his help on some particular aspect of what you want him to lean and let him solo with it until he masters that part.Once he masters it, he can keep doing it for YOU, than add another something for him to Solo at until he masters it. 

Dexter was extremely sociable, so well trained I could walk him off leash, and you could leave him sitting in the truck with a grocery bag full of steak for half an hour, and come back and nothing would be touched.

Since I am a dog owner it wouldn't bother me if some one with a leashed dog walked through my yard.
