As long as everything is disclosed in the beginning to the seller and buyer of what your doing (I believe) it's going to be hard to find a person guilty.

Again, guilty as charged.

I too have been guilty of getting frustrated and moving on....repeatedly.

As @Omar Khan said in a different thread about following the Morris Invest saga, he called it his guilty pleasure following it.

@Tara Myrick, I'd probably plead for it to be loaned for (at least) a year, and to be repaid at whatever % interest is at least as good as what she'd be getting if she hadn't lent it to you.Your own Pre-Approved Lender would also need to be informed of the arrangement.

We have cleared all the obstacles to our quiet title IRS, taxpayer, liens etc but private lender has filed pleadings.

Embezzlement of property received by virtue of office or employment says explicitly "...or (ii) are closing funds as defined in G.S. 45A-3, which shall have come into his possession or under his care, shall be guilty of a felony."

I admit I am guilty of being too nice also sometimes, though not to this extreme.Yes.
