Don't give them a key to the front door and tell them to call a locksmith!

I had locks rekeyed in a new multi-family a week ago and the locksmith told me Kwikset Smartkey locks are garbage.

My Dad was an ice cream man and locksmith among other things.

I actually remove locks and bring them to the locksmith for them to be rekeyed - it's WAY cheaper than having the locksmith come to me.

If she wants to change the locks, she can pay for the re-keying and give you a copy of the key.

There are rekeyable locks.

Maybe use the kwickset locks that allow 10 second rekeying?

All adults need to be on the lease and re-key the property for each new tenant.What a tenant does with the keys, I neither care nor know about.
