Hello BP community, I am really anxious about the current situation in my rental in FL.  I

  $3,000 for the first violation and $5,000 for every violation after.Some may not catch onto the first dozen of rental times with a STR flying under the radar but depending on how sensitive the market is to STRs, will determine how quickly that operator will be cited and shut down.

For holding security deposits the state requires that you use a bank located in the state of FL. I

Lots of coastal money hoovering up deals that look like major bargains compared to where they live and/or what they are used to... 

I want to get some ideas before i fly out in the next month or so.

@Kiki HellandActually.....yes.....I did fly out to Ohio.....twice......met with several PMs and several agents last year............Told them in advance when I was flying out....would like to meet them when I'm there, etc......focused on companies that did PM and had agents.......The company I was most impressed with was Holton-Wise.

Considering they don’t appear to have used it to call the police I’m not sure that would fly.

Starter homes anywhere south of Manchester are flying right now due to lack of inventory.   

I would only buy a personal vacation/STR property if it was within driving distance such that you could use it for the weekend many times a year. if it involved flying, I would simply buy an STR for investment purposes and then vacation wherever we wanted.
