I have done a few rent to owns over the years, I actually just closed on one the beginning of September.I Converted a long term tenant into a buyer.  

My clients bought one that was four bedrooms with a den (just needs a closet) and a loft area (which could easily be converted). 

I then took that money, paid off most of my debt, and then started looking for a place where the owner would carry the note and I could afford the down payment.The only thing I could find that met those requirements was a 100-year-old house that had been converted some decades ago into three, one-bedroom apartments.

I am looking to come in on the 4th though so I can do some scuba diving and site seeing as this will be my 1st time in Cancun.If interested in room hacking and we seem to get off on the right foot, I can look into converting it to a two bed room.I am an IT Manager for the day to day.
