Where do your closest family and friends live (the ones you like)?

The closest you could come is if you bought a duplex that was twice as expensive.

The closest you are going to get is buying in the desert or mountains and turning it into an AirBnb property.  

I would start looking at the sold homes closest to the one you're looking at, and only work outward if you can't find houses that are similar.

It's not surprising that that is the closest to the cap.

Was looking for a multifamily to househack for the higher cashflow, but changed my strategy to single family since the closest cashflowing multifamilys were hours away from the high paying jobs and I didn't think it was worth it.

Hi all,I'm thinking of purchasing a condo that is located quite literally right next door to a fire station.My question is: this whole condo community is essentially next door to the fire station, but my unit is the closest to both the side road and the fire station.I am wondering how much of a "discount" you would need to feel comfortable buying this unit (as compared to another similar unit/floorplan that is nestled more comfortably inside the inner ring of the community. 

BUT if you want to talk to someone...my wife and I love Fleming's Steak House.

I wanted something close to home because I will be self managing, but I am open to looking at neighboring/close states.
