Given now’s not a great time to find a tenant (the city just banned in-person showings), maybe I might as well use the downtime to furnish it and rent it out quicker and for a higher rate once a tenant is found?

(This is effectively a 1-2 month ban so it should be nothing to them.)

Before you start a petition to Scott Trench to have me banned from BP, that last post was a satire of mainly this thread, but the discussions there have happened a lot in the pasted three weeks.

Additionally, commercial evictions have been banned in locations like New York, California, Seattle and Miami.

I was recently notified that Watauga County in NC has recently banned short-term rentals due to COVID-19.

I have one tenant that only paid 50% of their rent for March and they're going to be on the way out as soon as the eviction ban is up.

I could see the possibility of making these properties cash flow as a STR but unfortunately Clark County has banned all STR and all 3 properties are within the county. 

SC just banned people coming in from hot spot areas.
