Hi Paul,Once you have a successful multifamily deal under your belt (and by successful, the deal meets or exceeds your return projections), you improve your ability to raise money for your next deal.

@George Blower about the LLC investment, do we have to invest in the same proportion (50/50), or could we invest in different proportions when investing into the same LLC?

And were they live rentals are all about appreciation and there are many that are really down on investing for appreciation so the buyers instead of saving up and buying West coast jump into mid west rust belt deed south.. with varying degrees of success.. but burnt out landlord syndrome in these areas is alive and well. that's for sure. 

I wasn’t worried about knocking it out of the park this deal, I just wanted to get one under my belt that was ‘good enough.’

The court looks more favorably on a company requesting halt of demolition that has proof of resources, plan, and experience under their belt. 

I have 2 properties under my belt, A Triplex and a Duplex, and am excited to add more!

I also have a handful of great friends in Milwaukee with full time real estate success under their belts that I could hook up with locally as well.Cheers to your future!!

Louis would be two of the larger cities and there are a number of smaller rust belt cities also.
