When you have less than a handful of rental properties, then just about any carrier/agent can help you with a quote (direct writer agent or independent agent).

The people with the most valuable expertise to share, especially in something like residential flooring choices, are not always the best and clearest writers.

Unfortunately news reporting has degraded and writers no longer cite sources, as is the case with this author. 

@Tyler Clark, if I understand the law correctly, the writer (buyer) of said 'love letter' wouldn't be infringing any FHA laws. 

So if someone has the cash to put down 50% on a home like that, they will get it, but otherwise an appraiser and under writer will smash those dreams of STR income.
