I am located in Hamilton Ontario and currently have a STR and this year purchased a LTR.

My wife's brothers are in Ontario, so Port Huron looks attractive from that perspective as well.

I currently have 5 doors in Cornwall, Ontario that I manage myself.

There is a 25% foreign tax in Ontario that basically wipes out all foreign buyers.

I’m a long time listener/watcher but just starting out my actual investing career in the Ottawa valley area (Ontario, Canada).

We purchased a new car every year.We went on several cruises (but always were in contact with our work crew)Took a train trip to Ontario to see Phantom of the OperaWent to the Fox Theater to see Jekyll and Hyde (the musical)We lived the good life.However, it took a lot of work. 

Toronto (and most of Ontario) seems to consider it affordable housing when the sale price is under a certain amount.
