You could also call the city's code enforcement department and ask them their regulations on short term rentals. 

There are the asset backed (DAI, EOSDT) as examples, but while they generally keep their peg (flux of a few cents), there's also the issue with Terra-Luna, and how it lost it's peg.

They refuse to get their payment processor on a call with me and amex to resolve the issue. 

I would not do this, if you don't look at the property you might buy something with a bunch of unforeseen issues.

Do you want to be solving tenant issues, buying properties, problems at work, etc. 

I have no issue staying booked so whatever I am doing is working for us.
