@Caleb Heimsothagreed, you can do alot with 30 but your goose is cooked once that is done.... i would never advocate buying to low end rentals and burning through your cash... point taken.i would look for assumptions, etc with no money down or very low cash out of pocket to get started...

Most deals I've looked at & offered on are on the North side so I'm not hugely familiar with the area, but there looks to be a lot of investment pouring into it (The Gateway project, Cook County Hospital redevelopment, etc.) and rents seem pretty strong.

In December 2017 I quit claimed a property to someone else, it was then filed with the Chicago Cook County Recorder of deeds office.My lawyer who filed the quit claim said that a P-TAX was submitted to get the deed recorded.Please explain to me what this is.Also I would like to know, since property taxes stay with the property.
