Hi everyone! I'm Cody Richard and I'm very excited to get more involved with Bigger Pockets and real estate investing. I am new to real estate investing and the concept of making passive income. My girlfriend and I bought our first house in March and that's when I began listening to the Bigger Pockets Podcast and instantly became hooked on learning about real estate investing. I'm very excited to immerse myself in real estate investing and begin my journey towards financial freedom.

I am originally from Indiana and moved to Utah during May 2018. I currently work as an IT Consultant and spend my spare time with my girlfriend and our two dogs! I enjoy getting outside to hike Utah's beautiful trails, snowboard, and have relaxing days cooking on the grill.

My short-term goal (1 year) is to purchase a multi-family rental property in Utah. My sites are currently set on buying in the Provo/Orem, Ogden, or Sandy areas. My long-term goal (5-7 years) is to establish a real estate investing business based around the buy-and-hold and BRRRR strategies to help provide financial freedom to my family.
