This is a question that you need to consult with an experienced mortgage broker  then maybe even somebody on the commercial side of it .

Ideally, we would like to be picking up more properties for ourselves and also not just accepting any property for the VR rentals as we'd want to maintain a certain standard of home.So are you still doing this now or on the side?

Hey @John Burtle I am living in one side and renting out the other.  

Hire a bookkeeper/property accountant and focus on what you do best.For flipping purposes, which deals more on the development/construction side, I strongly suggest something like Timberline which can definitely make life easier when processing that many invoices.
