I've got 2 places with a woodstove look-alike propane stove, but those tenants run the elctric forced air because electric is cheaper than propane.I know there are houses locally that have in-floor heat, but I wouldn't expect to see it in a rental, only because it is an upgraded feature.

If this were a building I owned I would do one of two things, 1: Install electric baseboard heat assuming I had sufficient electrical service coming into the building. 2) Install a gas forced air furnace in each apartment and have separate gas meters installed be apartment..

I'm eligible for a VA loan (1 year in the Air Force), but even though I'm "Pre-approved" for a loan, I have a feeling they'll deny the loan last minute if I go through with it, since I don't have 2 years of job experience in one field, which they said could keep me from getting a loan.

A few days later he would ask me to bring my lawnmower over (he didn't own a pick-up) and I'd discover that he had already weeded the beds, trimmed the trees and shrubs, edged the yard.If the neighborhood was the least bit dodgy (seldom with my rentals) or if I was worried about the former tenants, he would take his air mattress, a bit of cookware and his portable TV and radio and "move in" during the work.When he was finished I would ask him how much I owed him for everything.

It is a great source of "income".Death tax (Or for that matter I would add Marriage tax) - again, great source of income regardless of ideology...Banks - relationships between governments and financial institutes are too cozy.

You can get forced air natural gas furnaces that are even high-efficiency and so can be "direct vented" (no need for chimneys).In my area, people prefer gas heat.
