The Topic was buying abandoned Properties, and i swear i feel like i don't know any more of how to get started in this area than i did before the seminar started.Let alone, the host told a billion "stories" about some of the deals he did, which were mostly about the seller's situation, personality, etc.

I found a house that looks abandoned, can't find the home owner of the property, was wondering if you guys had any clue on how I can find this person?

I gave her the property address off an abandoned house and she said she would give me the cma on it sometime this week.

Texas law does give the Landlord the ability to change the locks and deem a property abandoned and take possession.

Both people abandoned the property.  

But if it is obviously abandoned, say so in the letter.

So I began to drive for dollars with a friend of mine and took down addresses for several properties and finding a handful of properties that are clearly abandoned.

It seems that deals are harder to come by as most investors have caught on to the gold mine that is Newark and bought up a lot of the abandoned lots and older properties.

Many oil wells/leases were abandoned when oil was low in the 80's.
