I wouldn't consider a SFR to be a mistake if the rent can cover the expenses.

Due to the size of your portfolio you might outgrow it, but I find it to do most everything I require.

But you need to structure it the right way from the beginning. 

If it were me, I'd be looking for something in that location to offset the negative impact of the casino.

The rental market is pretty rough here in the Austin area due to a glut of supply.

The credit committee is usually made up of local people who are familiar with the market they are in.

After researching the basics, I am looking forward to understanding the realistic steps in concluding a first deal.
