Overall I was ahead by a little bit.

Really if you get any of the back rent you are most likely well ahead of most who had tenants not paying.  

Both agent and the seller was little loosey-goosey in terms of sorting this out well ahead and especially with this tenant and been praising highly from the beginning they are "good" people.

My engineer is asking if I want to go ahead and put separate tax map numbers on each unit or just keep them all on one property.

What do you all do with issues like this, but issues you mention ahead of time?

I went ahead and estimated my taxes based on my assumption, paid more taxes, and filed an extension.

When looking at the numbers, remember if there are condo fees/HOA those add up quickly and depending on the amount, you are likely further ahead with a house. 

We had an agreed contract amount and we did make some changes during the rehab that we gave verbal go aheads to as well as some via email.

So plan ahead.
