Goal is to purchase a Cabin with some acreage, with the possibility of building additional units. 

I am based out of Broward & Miami-Dade county, so any additional advice specific to them would also be appreciated!

Will this be a rental or something you'll be living in?

As a homeowner, you're already ahead of most people :) I grew up in CA and moved to Reno, NV to live and invest.

I used to work for Japanese company and have know many friends who lived in Japan and spoke great Japanese and it seemed like about every 3 months they would have some kind of really mind altering experience culturally that was disturbing, so probably not an easy place to live or invest, even if the opportunity is there.Argentina I think prices/trades their real estate in $, so less currency risk. 

Lenders may require additional documentation or have different terms for new construction.

I lived in our 380 square foot ADU and rented the main house for two years before moving into the main house.

Cloud, MN as it's close to where I'm currently living, as well as being close to a popular state university.

This option will run for 27 YEARS as this property owner selling us the exclusive OPTION to buy their Home will still LIVE there.

I hesitate to use the term "slum lord" but the conditions some of these residents are living with are not healthy.
