AshleyNormal, however you have wide latitude in the actual agreement you agree to sign, how long, how much commission, that’s not to see individual agents have to agree to your terms, but if you feel uncomfortable with the terms you are free to negotiate or shop around, however an agent cannot legally show you a house without an signed agreement of some sort. 

@Eden Meng contact your Solo 401k administrator regarding regulations regarding leasing  mid term and long term rental properties.They should provide guidance regarding prohibited transactions.

Hello BP members,I live in Miami and I'm considering purchasing a long-term rental property in Orlando that will generate positive cash flow.

Ours dried up in June 2023, and even that was ridiculously long.

But airdna suggests we'd make more as a long term rental.

Give them proper notice, keep it friendly, and explain it’s all about fairness to match market rates.A little empathy goes a long way—help them understand the rising costs, and they might just thank you for it (okay, maybe not thank you, but they’ll get it!).
