That's more of an emotional/thought process barrier that isn't necessarily true. 

Still, last month’s drop in core retail sales left the bulk of January’s gain intact, and the decline was probably temporary (due to weather conditions).

Anyone who has been through a flood or fire has been through a traumatic situation, but whether that emotional damage entitles you to compensation is questionable.

It is ok to study statistics, but emotions will affect how long you stay.

I am a Canadian looking to move to the US on a TN visa (NAFTA professionals temporary resident visa) and wondering how long it would realistically take to qualify for a first mortgage. 

All this stuff about a problem resident, getting nasty, lost in transit, and missing pictures is all just unrelated emotional noise.  

People are asking for the same money you get to come from the " government" just like yours does in a temporary fashion AND to be able to kick out people who can pay and don't. 

The majority of the cases you will spend more money on lawyer fees, court costs, and sheriff service fees than you will get back in rent (especially if you give value to your time that you invest into the entire process).Make good business decisions, not emotional decisions.
