Although the deed is in my name can I still get the tax credits from the interest and taxes paid, or does the mortgage holder get that since ther 1098 is in their name.I kow this is a CPA question but I know there are plenty of smart people on BP..

A couple of them are partners are law firms or public accounting firms, one is a smart lawyer at a small ish law firm but not a partner....A controller, base at $230K, 30% bonus and RSU....A recruitor called yesterday with a sr finance manager position base at $180K + bonus + RSU, and said can maybe stratch a bit more.... that is only a manager level....So personally I know 4-5 of them making $700K ish...

He has a change of mind and now wants the following:50/50 investment (he pays half, I pay half)50/50 ownership50/50 cash-on-cash rent pay outs.He wants NO management or ongoing responsibilities.IE - I do property vetting, mgt of rehab, mgt property, mgt finances, mgt llc, etc.My question to all of you very smart & creative financial folks is this:How can I structure this deal that make more sense for both of us.
