There's no dishwasher, old stove, chipping paint on radiators, broken tile in the bathroom etc.

When we began chipping off the old 4x4 tile on the bathroom walls we found a slab behind each wall about an inch thick of concrete to which the tiles are adhered to directly.Is there an easy way to remove the tiles or should be just demo the entire slab, tile and all and just replace with 1/4" concrete board on the remodel?

Is this in Oak Harbor?  

Before purchasing my first investment (buy and hold), I was looking in the following areas: Raytown, Grandview, Independence (some good areas and some bad), South KC, Belton, and Oak Grove.

John Anderson thank you for answering my questions I kind of knew all that stuff I ran to manufactured modular lots in Southeast Texas the Golden Triangle area work for Oak Creek homes which builds both and we put Home here along the coast after the Hurricanes blew houses away they won't blow these Oak creeks away that are down here a modular home is the way to go when you're putting them up above ground  20 foot in the air. 

They chip no matter what.

It's gotten some recent attention w/ development projects like Hardy Yards and White Oak Music Hall.

Would rather chip in to provide that support to help the overall city and neighborhood improve than pay 1% and have it slide downwards..
