I have concluded that the negative college theme is a result of how much we've become focused on "instant gratification".

Was instantly hooked.

Also, it's hard work, it's a lot of stress, and if you're a tortoise buy/holder like myself, nothing is instant and it's a waiting game.   

Based on what you describe, I think you can easily rent out that unit on Air Bnb very easily to recover her rent plus more if priced right in the beginning and turn on the Instant Booking feature.  

They want instant gratification and instant riches.

People instantly associate mountains with snow, but that’s not the case when it comes to great smoky.
