@Geoffrey Tanudjaja People that rent bedrooms in a shared house aren't going to have their own furniture 99% of the time, so that means you have three beds, dressers, etc plus enough living room furniture for three individuals to comfortably occupy one space, plus kitchen utensils, dishes, etc.

Once the furniture is moved in and they're wearing down the carpet with their dirty shoes, they seem to forget about carpet issues.
