Because of how difficult the city is to  work with the whole city is basically being transformed into a rental city, and the city is also having major financial difficulties.  

Everything is getting more technological.

Plus the biggest factor - for me - is I have too many trees in my backyard.I was hoping to capture some of the tax incentives with solar, but with the price of solar dropping and getting more efficient, it might not make a difference in a few years when the technology improves and there are no longer any tax incentives.Ultimately it depends on your area. 

Technology and I are not best friends, but we tolerate each other.

I am looking to get started out, but am having difficulty determining if there are any types of loans I can use.I have excellent credit but I have a lot of gaps in employment over the last 2 years.

The other is a larger and offers significantly more in terms of technology and support.  

Technology is taking over on just about everything.

If you do not mind taking the risk of extensive property damage, flee infestations, difficulty re-renting due to urine smell and every other possible problem then you are right.

Now that you've taken the pressure off the seller and they are no longer "in heat" you may have difficulty getting further cooperation since you did not think thus through fully and engineer this prior to spending the money.Now their problem is YOUR problem.
