In every other venture I have ever been involved in, whether it be technology or neuroscience or career strategy or whatever, I have always had people more or less approach me to be my mentor.

As for skills I'm excellent with technology and analysis, not specifically real estate analysis...yet!  

Then you have the other standard costs for any business...office space, technology, insurance, labor etc

I'm licensed in a few construction areas as well as a licensed home inspector but do technology work for a living.  

My background is in technology, having worked with and invested in tech startups for over 15 years.Investing in real estate has always been part of my long term plans, although my other passions and interests have put it aside for too long.  

With all of the scams involving technology I don't know how you could successfully use email lists.

There are great, flexible brokers in every market that would love to have the enthusiasm and the potential business of an investor/agent.Some people think that technology will make real estate agents obsolete in the next decade.

Conversely, I offer an array of property management services that is tailored for the out of state investor with technology, reporting, and a communication style that is tailored to benefit that type of relationship.
