Lessons learned for me:Watermark your photographsKeep something with the your contact info and phone number visible to the outside in a window with a note stated that only your are authorized to rent this propertyFrequent inspections of your property to make sure all windows and doors are locked, so you are sure no one got in and changed the locksBe wary of people coming to see your home and one stays inside of the carAsk for some form of identification of people coming to see your propertyKeep notes about persons coming to see your property In reality with todays technology anyone of these measures can be defeatedI hope this helps someone!

You could check the forums as other people have asked for referral for CPAs also and now with technology your CPA could be anywhere as long as he/she is familiar with the regulations in your jurisdiction.
