It’s a few blocks from Lake Michigan and has been updated recently.

Now I’m not saying this very short journey hasn’t come with road blocks already, but what I will tell you is this.

@Zachary SextonYou seem to block out multiple warnings, very well articulated by @Greg H., @Scott England and others. 

This is a very small self storage facility, 22 units, and pretty old, block construction from 1965, not maintained at all, but functional, just everything is at the end of its life re: roof not failing, but not far from failing, asphalt failing, doors are rusty, limited places with vinyl siding is falling off, etc. 

At this point, I'm very selective, and this house was a few blocks from my house. 

If we had moved about 3 blocks further west, I would have gone there. 

@Greg Szymbor buy at the corner of the block and wait until it becomes the middle (Not the actual corner of the block but edge of the city)

I just dealt with some too, found a poorly installed window that was letting water pour into the block walls (basement unit) every time it rained.
