The main thing is to have a clear vision for the property and what the city / county will be on board with as well as any surrounding neighbors as they will be brought into the conversation of any public notices / hearings and or rezoning is required.Development is a process with specific steps and order of operations so make sure you are clear on the process prior to signing any contracts.

You just need to make sure the syndicator is experienced, has a plan to operate the property (usually means a property management team onboard) and a plan to exit the invetment down the line.
