We own a property in nKY built to accommodate MIL or short term rental but I have seen many that are modifiable.

Real estate is a long game.

You can get some great properties in a lot of states that are STR short term rentals for example.

I have been interested in Real Estate investing since I began college in 2015 and always knew thats what I wanted to do in the long run.

My concern is that there aren't a ton of outside reviews (i.e. those not on the PropertyOnion website), but I don't think the tool has been available for very long (or at least I haven't come across it until recently), so this would explain a lot. 

Unless you have personal reasons for this property, I would probably look for a property that I could rent all year long as my own discretion.
