You are basically gambling your business on a stranger.

Genuinely curious how many players (on this platform otherwise) you're seeing and how common/uncommon it is for individuals to be playing in the $250k+ range, $500k+, $1MM+... 

When neither of the above has worked out, I've also gone so far as to reach out on the platform directly to other local hosts and inquire if they'd be willing to share contact information - surprisingly enough, it has worked and have gotten some great contacts from doing so.

@Marcelle Abel there are many accountant here on the platform that work nationwide and deal with STRs.

I'm glad to see other women on this platform striving for the same.

This site is definitely a great platform when starting.

I too utilize HELOC's to invest passively, one with a trusted investor (developer) in FL, another avenue is through lending platforms such as Groundfloor, or other local options like Milwaukee Hard Money (local to me), etc.

I typically follow up with every inquiry that we get via Zillow, Realtor, and any other platform.

I have tuned in to so much of the bigger pockets materials from books to podcasts and meetups and I am very grateful for this platform.

This is a great platform to start out on.
