Doing this will generally save a lot on what would otherwise be spent on agent commissions, but remember that the lawyer is not your agent so once they draft it and advise you on how to proceed, it's basically up to you to complete the transaction by negotiating with the seller during the escrow, giving the escrow company the forms they need to proceed with everything, etc.

(fyi- there are low life people who would attempt this too) BUT, in this seller's market with homes getting contacts within a few days or the day you put up for sale, unless you are an out of state seller, you can do this FSBO option.Selling a home FSBO at top price can put be a massive savings of Tax Free Equity that can put a kid thru college, make you debt free, put towards retirement, etc.
