I offered to pay seller 750/month P+I with ZERO headaches ; ) Cost me 1400 dollars to close total. 20k worth of rehab into it, added 8k or so in furniture and it's now operating as an airbnb. 850/month CF What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

So, I've looked at many REOs and they have all had the Appliances removed; I always assumed that the previous owners took them to salvage what they could before the foreclose.Recently there was a property in my neighborhood that was being foreclosed on and when the tenants moved out some contractors came in to clean it out; I noticed that not only did they clear out the furniture and other items left behind they also removed all the fairly new appliances from the property as well.I don't understand why the bank would do this...

As for the furnishings, one of the options I provide landlords with, is to keep the purchased furniture after the trial period, and offer the unit as a furnished rental to the next tenant.
