Now, if you are truly an independant contractor or an employee and you have done adminstrative support tasks for that Realtor, like taking pictures, setting out signs, filing, etc, they can pay you, but not based on a per centage of a sale.

Hi Forrest, I can't actually recommend Kevin Tacher of Independence Title in Fort Lauderdale, as I haven't actually used his services; but I know from talking to him at a PSL REIA meeting that he is heavily involved with, and friendly towards real estate investors.

It consists of one introductory course and four speciality courses in commercial real estate and unlike the superficial courses many "real estate schools" offer, these are heavy into the mathematical and statistical arenas neccessary for proper deal anaylsis.These courses can be used to meet the requirements for a brokers license.

It will create additional burdens for all taxpayers.Another thing to consider here is that the states and federal government are looking very carefully at independent contractor vs employee relationships.

You might consider a partner to buy some deals with you in some sort of method.....while I'm sure you understand the degree of independence required, it's not just taht but the perception of banks and others who hire appraisers.

Here is my question/situation: My hard money lender had 3 independents come out to my property to determine the ARV on my house, so that he could then decide on how much money to lend me.
